Annette Mark is the pen name for a husband and wife author team. Annette, a caterer by profession, was born in Germany in a Bavarian spa town. She met Mark, who has a legal and managerial background, in South Africa.
Their love of nature and travel inspired them to see the world together. Over the past few decades, they have lived in several countries before finally settling on Australia’s Gold Coast.
The inspiration and idea for this book germinated while they were living in Bangkok, Thailand.
Their hobbies include photography, trekking in the subtropical rainforests of South East Queensland, travel and cooking.
They are currently writing their second Kate St George crime thriller, set in one of the countries they lived in.
